CHARDONNAY came to the Vipava valley after the Second World War as a Pinot Blanc.
Later, it was found that it was a Chardonnay. Its high specificity, which is mainly reflected in the pronounced fruity bouquet reminiscent of ripe honey pears or apples (Golden Delicious).
Because of its endearing fruit harmonious tinting taste, this wine ranks among the most sought-after white wine. Best Chardonnay gives the Prvačko hills Mandrija, with marked notes of dried fruits.
